Smart — Responsive Multi-Purpose WordPress Theme Overview
Smart is a general purpose theme whose working parts are a home page template driven by the vendor’s own slider, a large library of grid layouts, and a tailored build of Visual Composer. The listing names no individual demo sites, so you are buying that structure rather than ready made niche designs.
NiceThemes publishes it. Content types come from the vendor’s small plugins for portfolio, team, testimonials, info boxes and likes, and configuration is grouped into panels for typography, colour, header, footer, portfolio, store, blog, map, layout and social links.
Roughly seventy grid arrangements cover blog, portfolio, team and shop listings, which is where the flexibility sits. A sortable portfolio with optional infinite scroll handles the project side.

Who Smart — Responsive Multi-Purpose WordPress Theme Is Suitable For
The grid library makes this a reasonable base for a small Canadian consultancy, a studio with a wide body of work, or a business wanting one site to carry services, a team page, testimonials and a modest shop. Buyers comfortable arranging their own pages in a builder get the most from it.
Anyone hoping to import a finished niche demo and edit the words will be disappointed, because no demo catalogue is published. The gap since the last documented release is the other thing to weigh.
Important Notes About Smart — Responsive Multi-Purpose WordPress Theme
The declared compatibility record lists only Gravity Forms and WPML. WooCommerce and Visual Composer are both described at length in the body and appear in neither, while Gravity Forms is declared and never mentioned, so confirm the shop pages, quick view and order tracking on the demo. Visual Composer keeps its own licence and release cycle inside the bundle, and buying the theme does not buy its author’s support.
On dates the three figures agree: the only changelog line gives version 1.1 released on 1 March 2018, and the packaged stylesheet also reads 1.1. Nothing later is documented, yet the demo import requirements ask for PHP 7.4, which arrived in late 2019, and the feature list still claims readiness for WordPress 4.6 while the declared ceiling has moved to the 6.7 series. Two smaller defects: a support button points at a malformed address, and the packaged stylesheet credits the studio without naming the theme. Demo photography comes from stock libraries and is not included. AppiAppi offers no legal advice.
Setup & Ongoing Management by AppiAppi
You purchase the theme in your own name. AppiAppi installs it, runs the compatibility checks a theme of this age needs on current WordPress and PHP, then builds the pages out with your services, team, testimonials and projects.
Where the grid library offers a dozen ways to show the same content, AppiAppi picks the one that reads well on a phone, and images are compressed and sized for the layout. AppiAppi also delivers AI-assisted SEO and content support, adds and maintains any products, applies updates where the vendor provides them, answers form enquiries, and manages the site under your subscription plan.
