Playroom – Kids & Kindergarten WordPress Theme Overview
Playroom leans towards entertainment: a party venue, a play centre, an amusement space, with daycare one use among several. Event, booking and party venue templates make up the prepared pages.
Elated-Themes publishes it, built on Elementor. Two commercial plugins travel with it, Booked for appointments and Slider Revolution for banners, and one import reproduces the demonstration site.
Past the booking calendar sit a working hours list, event lists static and slider, team and client lists, pricing tables and testimonials. Header behaviour can be sticky, fixed, or sticky only on upward scroll, with mobile header styling set separately.

Who Playroom – Kids & Kindergarten WordPress Theme Is Suitable For
A party venue, a soft play centre or a children’s entertainment business is the natural reading, and a daycare running open sessions would work too. This is the most event-shaped theme of the set.
It also names a real booking engine, unusually: Booked is bundled and its calendar has its own shortcode, so appointments and party slots can genuinely be taken. WooCommerce compatibility adds a shop, Contact Form 7 the messages. What Booked hands you is an appointment slot, not a childcare enrolment: there is no roll, no fee schedule and no family portal, and a venue’s waiver, age and height rules must be built as content.
Important Notes About Playroom – Kids & Kindergarten WordPress Theme
Information about a child must be collected through a parent or guardian, with consent meaningful rather than a ticked box. A party booking, a birthday club, a newsletter or a contest gathering a name, birthday, photograph or address falls under that, and tracking aimed at children is the specific risk. Collect the least a booking needs, say how long it is kept, and keep children’s records off marketing lists. Where there is soft play or inflatables, publish the age, height, weight and supervision rules accurately rather than softening them, and keep sock and hygiene rules on the page. The operator carries these obligations; AppiAppi is not a compliance service.
The two sources that exist agree: the changelog entry of 18 March 2026 records 1.5 and the packaged style.css prints 1.5, with no banner figure to differ. That packaged file describes itself in two words, so judge it by the live demo. A log line about Elementor deprecated functions is an ordinary code fix, nothing more. The concrete points lie elsewhere: Elementor is a hard dependency, Booked must stay current for the calendar to work, and declared WordPress support starts at the 6.5.x series.
Setup & Ongoing Management by AppiAppi
The licence sits in your own ThemeForest account, leaving Elated-Themes answerable for releases and support. AppiAppi installs on staging with Elementor, configures Booked around your real opening hours and party slots, and tests the calendar end to end before it takes a reservation.
Rooms, packages, prices and age bands go in as structured content so a parent can compare. Booking forms ask for a guardian’s contact, and allergy information only where food is served. Deposits, cancellation windows and what happens in illness or bad weather are stated before payment, photographs published only where permission is recorded, with French where needed. Your plan covers seasonal packages, tested updates, booking and enquiry handling, and AI-assisted SEO and content support.
