Newspoint – Blogging WordPress Theme Overview
Newspoint carries a news-sounding name, but its own opening heading calls it a creative personal blog theme, and the listing addresses lifestyle, fashion, beauty and travel writers. The seller is themeexpo, and the structure is a builder-led blog rather than a sectioned newsroom.
Pages are assembled in the KingComposer drag-and-drop builder using components the vendor customised for this theme, with Slider Revolution supplied for animated slides and a full-screen background slider for the home page. Settings run through the vafpress options framework.
Beyond that, the theme offers unlimited sidebars, custom page templates, several post formats, advanced typography with Google Fonts and custom font uploads, footer widget areas, a child theme, WPML support and a translation file.

Who Newspoint – Blogging WordPress Theme Is Suitable For
This suits a Canadian lifestyle, fashion, beauty or travel blogger who wants a designed home page and the freedom to lay out individual posts visually. A single writer, or a small group sharing one editorial voice, will get the most from it.
It is not a news or review platform. There is no section architecture, no ticker, no rating system and no editorial queue, so a publication with daily deadlines and several contributors should look at a newsroom layout instead.
Important Notes About Newspoint – Blogging WordPress Theme
The listing carries another product’s text. A global rename has broken the phrase for the page builder into nonsense in three places, and the browser compatibility bullet names Edinburgh, a different theme. That passage circulates across many unrelated listings, so it is not evidence about this codebase, but the prose cannot be trusted and the live demo is what to judge. KingComposer, Slider Revolution and the vafpress framework are named in the body and none appears in the declared record, which instead lists WooCommerce versions the listing never advertises, and bundled copies of commercial plugins carry no entitlement from their authors.
The packaged style.css reads 1.4 while the newest published entry is version 2.0 from October 2020, so the log documents a release the delivered files do not contain. Every signal sits in 2020 against a WordPress 5.2.x ceiling, so compatibility must be proven first. The documentation route is unencrypted and support is branded under a third name. An Instagram feed appears only in the update log and depends on current platform access. Affiliate and sponsored posts must be identifiable as advertising under Canadian rules, and AppiAppi gives no legal advice.
Setup & Ongoing Management by AppiAppi
AppiAppi installs the customer’s own licensed copy, imports the demo, then rebuilds the home page in the builder with the writer’s real sections, and sets the archive, category and tag templates. The single-post template, typography, sidebars, author box, related posts and sharing are configured, and any advertising or affiliate placement is set up as a clearly labelled widget area.
A newsletter block is pointed at the owner’s own mail provider rather than the theme, and the builder and slider dependencies are documented for the owner. AppiAppi supplies AI-assisted SEO and content work, keeps the plugins patched, and manages the site under the customer’s plan.
