The changelog records an addon vulnerability fixed in February 2020 and a 2026 release that stopped objects being deserialized from demo data: real security work in the vendor’s own words, and the reason to keep both patched. The slider and grid plugins named keep their own licences.
The packaged file reads 1.0.12 while the banner and newest changelog entry read 1.0.18, and the same seller’s other item here shows the same gap, so the version string dates nothing from this studio. Its section headings describe a personal blog and review magazine rather than business news, their anchors name an unrelated theme, and one banner links to a different product. For a news-oriented site the real exposures are defamation and responsibility for moderated comments, so a moderation policy, a corrections route and a named contact matter.
