Imogen – Designer and Creative Business WordPress Theme Overview
This is a presentation layer for studios that already have work to show. The structure is portfolio first: project grids in gallery, masonry, scattered and justified arrangements, several single project templates, and split screen sections pairing one image with one block of text. Pages are built in WPBakery Page Builder.
Elated-Themes publishes it. The package adds an options panel, one click demo import, four header types with sticky and fixed behaviours, a one to four column footer, a mega menu and detailed typography control.
WooCommerce support lets a studio put prints or packaged services beside the portfolio rather than run a second site. Nothing manages the work itself: no client area, no proofing, no invoicing, and the enquiry route is a contact form.

Who Imogen – Designer and Creative Business WordPress Theme Is Suitable For
It fits a Canadian design studio, a branding or digital agency, or a freelance designer whose case studies are visual rather than written. Split screen and scattered grids reward a small number of strong projects, so eight to twenty pieces sit better here than a hundred.
It is weaker for a practice that needs its site to run the business. Proposals, contracts, time tracking and a client login stay in separate tools, and a deep catalogue belongs in a WooCommerce led theme.
Important Notes About Imogen – Designer and Creative Business WordPress Theme
The portfolio types and shortcodes come from the bundled Elated Core plugin, so deactivating it removes project content as well as page elements. WPBakery Page Builder and Slider Revolution travel inside the download but keep their own licences and release cycles, and a bundle does not pass on the plugin author’s support.
One mismatch matters. The feature list still advertises an Instagram feed widget, a Twitter feed widget and a Twitter list element, while the newest update entry records both feed plugins and the connecting script removed after those platforms changed their interfaces. Treat social feeds as absent and check them on the demo. The vendor also says the demo photography is not licensed to buyers, and the display faces behind it are the vendor’s too. Publishing client projects usually needs permission, since agency work is often covered by a non disclosure agreement. AppiAppi gives no legal advice.
Setup & Ongoing Management by AppiAppi
You buy and own the theme licence; AppiAppi installs it and builds the site out with your material. That means real project and case study pages, the filterable grid set to your own categories, a studio page with team profiles, a services page, a journal and working enquiry forms, with transitions and hover effects dialled back far enough to keep keyboard and screen reader use workable.
Images are compressed and given responsive sizes so heavy layouts stay quick on a rural connection. AppiAppi also provides AI-assisted SEO and content support, keeps project pages carrying real headings, copy and alt text, applies updates, answers enquiries from the forms, and manages the site under your subscription plan.
