Frames – Movie Studios & Filmmakers WordPress theme Overview
Frames, from HaruTheme, is a presentation theme for film studios, directors, actors and videographers. Its distinguishing feature is how a video record is sourced: each points at a major hosted service, an embed code or a self hosted file, and the theme styles the player and the project page around it.
The package counts seven or more homepages, each with a dark and a light version, three or more blog layouts, and header and footer styles that are themselves edited with Elementor through header, footer and mega menu builders.
It hosts no film of its own. There is no screening schedule, no seat selection and no box office anywhere in the listing, so the theme is a shop window for work that lives on a platform elsewhere.

Who Frames – Movie Studios & Filmmakers WordPress theme Is Suitable For
Frames fits a Canadian production company, director, cinematographer or video led agency whose reels already sit on a hosted platform and who needs a presentation site around them. The dark and light pairs suit a studio that will keep reshaping its front page.
Be clear about what it will not do. Hosting, bandwidth, transcoding and any paywall stay with the platform holding the master file, and ticketing or seat booking needs a dedicated service. A showreel row or festival laurel strip in the demo is presentation that ships empty.
Important Notes About Frames – Movie Studios & Filmmakers WordPress theme
The newest update entry claims compatibility with WordPress 7.1 and the WooCommerce 11.x line, both beyond what the marketplace declares for this item, and several entries carry dates out of sequence. Elementor, the bundled slider and the options framework the theme depends on are all named in the body or the history without appearing in the declared record, so confirm the plugin stack on the live demo.
The theme compiles its stylesheets on the server into the uploads directory, which matters for backups and file permissions. Nothing in the listing states the licence of its demo footage, stills or fonts, so none of it should be assumed transferable. Filming identifiable people commercially needs releases, Quebec recognizes a distinct right to one’s image, and commercial drone work in Canada requires a Transport Canada pilot certificate. AppiAppi cannot advise on the legal side of any of that.
Setup & Ongoing Management by AppiAppi
The customer holds the licence. AppiAppi installs the theme, imports the closest demo, and builds the header, footer and menus in Elementor around the customer’s identity. Each film or project is entered as its own record pointing at the platform holding the master, with poster frames, synopsis, credits and crew profiles as real content.
AppiAppi compresses poster imagery, sets responsive sizes and lazy loading, keeps genuine headings, copy and alternative text on project pages so the work is findable, and configures the newsletter and enquiry forms with a consent line. Ongoing management covers AI-assisted SEO and content support, theme and plugin updates, new project records, and responding to enquiries, matched to the plan.
