Først – Elementor Agency and Portfolio WordPress Theme Overview
Først is an Elementor based agency and portfolio theme from Edge-Themes. What sets it apart is the kind of showcase it offers: horizontal and vertical project showcases, a drag slider, a dual portfolio slider, a fullscreen image slider, an image list with titles, and sections that uncover as the visitor moves.
The conventional pieces are present too: portfolio lists in masonry, justified and gallery form, several single project templates, project info panels and category lists. A vendor plugin named Forst Core supplies those elements and the portfolio post type, and Slider Revolution is bundled.
Released in August 2023 and last updated in August 2026, it is actively maintained, with recent entries recording a security improvement, PHP 8.3 work and repeated Elementor editor fixes. It is a presentation tool: what it does well depends on the work loaded into it.

Who Først – Elementor Agency and Portfolio WordPress Theme Is Suitable For
Først suits a Canadian design or branding studio presenting a small number of substantial projects, where a horizontal showcase can give each one room. It also works for an individual designer who wants the site itself to demonstrate craft, provided the portfolio is genuinely finished.
The motion is the catch. Horizontal scrolling, drag interaction and scroll triggered reveals are among the hardest patterns for keyboard and screen reader users, and content appearing only on scroll is not reliably indexed. AppiAppi can reduce the motion, but a buyer needing a conventionally accessible site should choose a conventional layout.
Important Notes About Først – Elementor Agency and Portfolio WordPress Theme
The Awards List element ships empty, as do the clients, testimonials and pricing blocks, and they stay that way until the owner supplies real recognitions, real quotes and real prices. Deactivating Forst Core removes the showcase elements and the portfolio post type, so the plugin is part of the running site rather than an installation step.
The marketplace record lists WPBakery Page Builder, which this Elementor theme never advertises, and the declared WordPress ceiling sits ahead of the August 2026 release, making the release date the figure to test. The listing says nothing about the licence position of the demo photography, so treat none of it as cleared and license every image independently. The vendor’s own log records a security improvement, reason enough to keep the theme and its core plugin patched. AppiAppi provides no legal advice.
Setup & Ongoing Management by AppiAppi
The customer buys the licence, then AppiAppi installs the theme and Forst Core, imports a demo as a frame and replaces it with the studio’s projects, capabilities, about page and journal, substituting licensed photography and fonts for the demo material.
We set the showcase elements to the number of projects the studio actually has, dial the horizontal movement and reveal animations back to something usable with a keyboard, compress the imagery, and give each project page real headings and alt text. Updates, backups, monitoring, content changes, enquiry handling and AI-assisted SEO and content support continue on the customer’s plan.
