Obsius – Creative Agency WordPress Theme Overview
Obsius is a creative agency theme from Edge-Themes, built for Elementor. Six predesigned homepages and a set of inner pages carry a deliberately dark palette, and the theme adds its own widget collection to the editor so the demo layouts can be rearranged without code.
Work is presented through portfolio lists in several shapes, including a double image variant and a table layout, alongside an interactive link showcase, an item showcase and a fixed indent slider. Slider Revolution is bundled, and the theme is declared ready for the block editor.
The positioning is a studio or freelancer site with a strong visual identity, with project pages behind a chosen homepage and an optional WooCommerce shop.

Who Obsius – Creative Agency WordPress Theme Is Suitable For
It suits Canadian design, branding and digital studios, and freelancers working under their own name, who want a confident dark site with room for a handful of landing pages; photographers and illustrators fit the same layouts.
What it does not contain is the business half of agency life. There is no client portal, no CRM, no proposal or contract handling and no invoicing; the start a project button leads to a Contact Form 7 form.
Important Notes About Obsius – Creative Agency WordPress Theme
Obsius depends on two vendor plugins, Obsius Core and the Qode Framework. If either is switched off the custom widgets and post types stop resolving and pages built from them break. The vendor’s own update log records fixing a potential security vulnerability in both the theme and the framework, so patching is not a formality here. The vendor states it holds no copyright in the demo pictures and that they cannot be reused on a buyer’s site; the download is declared as PHP, CSS and JavaScript files only, which is where licensed photography and display faces fall out. The newest documented release is June 2025, with WooCommerce 9.x the declared ceiling.
A project brief form collecting budgets and business plans gathers personal and commercial information: PIPEDA applies federally, Quebec’s Law 25 adds consent and transparency duties, and a privacy policy with a retention period is expected. Published client work usually needs permission under an NDA or a work for hire agreement. AppiAppi gives no legal advice.
Setup & Ongoing Management by AppiAppi
The theme is purchased in the customer’s name. AppiAppi installs it alongside Obsius Core and the framework, imports the closest demo, then replaces every piece of it: the chosen homepage, project and case study pages, the studio page, team profiles, services, the journal and the enquiry form.
Animation settings are tuned rather than left at demo defaults, text over photography is checked for contrast, imagery is compressed with responsive sizes, and project pages get headings and copy a search engine can read. We then handle enquiries, run updates and provide AI assisted SEO and content writing under the customer’s plan.
