Orion – Creative Multi-Purpose WordPress Theme Overview
Orion is a creative multipurpose WordPress theme from G5Theme, built around twenty-two prebuilt homepage demos that import in one step and are then reshaped page by page. The editing layer is WPBakery Page Builder, so pages are assembled from shortcode blocks rather than native WordPress blocks.
What the package genuinely provides is presentation structure: portfolio archives in masonry, grid, overlay and metro arrangements, single project templates, several blog list styles, header and footer variants, and a Redux based options panel. A preset stores a layout with its colour skin for reuse on later pages.
WooCommerce is supported to the 10.x series, so a studio selling prints or merchandise can run a shop on the same install. Beyond that the theme manages no projects, no clients and no money.

Who Orion – Creative Multi-Purpose WordPress Theme Is Suitable For
Orion suits Canadian design studios, photographers and small creative firms that already hold finished work and want a wide choice of ready layouts rather than one fixed look. An agency site, a personal portfolio and a small shop can all come from a single licence.
It is not business software. There is no client relationship manager, no invoicing, no contract handling and no project tracker, and a project enquiry is a form submission answered by email. The parallax sections and video backgrounds that carry the design are also its heaviest part, so compression, responsive image sizes and a reduced motion fallback belong in the plan.
Important Notes About Orion – Creative Multi-Purpose WordPress Theme
The shortcode set belongs to the page builder, so removing WPBakery would strip the layouts out of existing pages and leave unrendered markup behind; that choice is effectively permanent. The body credits Revolution Slider and a second builder from SiteOrigin, neither of which appears in the marketplace attribute record, so confirm on the live demo what is bundled. The listing publishes no changelog either, linking out to the vendor’s own site, so the download cannot be dated from the listing.
Demo photography and display fonts are licensed to the vendor and cannot be carried to a live site, so budget for stock licences or a shoot. Published client work usually needs permission too, because agency projects are often covered by a non disclosure agreement or assigned under a work for hire contract. AppiAppi does not provide legal advice.
Setup & Ongoing Management by AppiAppi
The customer buys the Orion licence in their own name. AppiAppi installs it, imports the demo closest to the agreed design, and rebuilds it with the customer’s logo, typography, palette, service pages and real project records. Portfolio categories are set so the filtered grids match how the studio describes its work.
AppiAppi tunes the preset and animation settings, compresses imagery, configures responsive sizes and lazy loading, and wires the enquiry form to a monitored inbox. Ongoing work covers AI-assisted SEO and content support, theme and plugin updates, new project pages, shop upkeep where WooCommerce is used, and answering enquiries, matched to the customer’s subscription plan.
