Definity – Creative Multi-Purpose WordPress Theme Overview
Definity is a minimal multipurpose theme from ajdethemes that covers both one-page and conventional multi-page sites. The description promises more than twenty importable demos but names none of them, so the demo site is where a buyer learns what is on offer.
Underneath it is a conventional build: the Underscores starter framework, SCSS sources beside the compiled stylesheets, and WPBakery Page Builder declared for page assembly. Contact Form 7 and WPML are declared too.
Positioned at consultancies, freelancers and personal portfolios, it is a presentation site rather than an operational tool, and the last marketplace release was in September 2024.

Who Definity – Creative Multi-Purpose WordPress Theme Is Suitable For
Canadian consultants, architects, freelance practitioners and anyone building a personal portfolio or an online resume are the audience the vendor describes, and the restrained styling carries that kind of content without fighting it.
Agencies needing a documented, frequently updated theme will be less comfortable, given the gap in the published record. A shop is mentioned in the packaged file’s own description but no e-commerce plugin is named or declared anywhere, so it should not be assumed.
Important Notes About Definity – Creative Multi-Purpose WordPress Theme
Two vendor plugins, Definity Elements and Definity Portfolio, are required, and they hold the builder elements and the portfolio post type. They stay active for the life of the site; turning either off removes that content.
The file inside the download reports version 3.1.0 while the newest published entry is 3.0.0 from October 2023, so at least one release is undocumented and the version string cannot date the package. The description says the markup is built on the third Bootstrap series while the marketplace record declares the fourth, and declared WordPress support stops at the 6.7 line. The flagged entry about deprecation is the vendor retiring its own earlier portfolio grid elements in favour of ones tied to a new post type, not a notice about the theme; the current listing advertises no builder elements at all, so the change affects older sites rather than a new build.
Layered design files are described as included but must be requested from the vendor, and the declared download contents list only code files. A live cryptocurrency price element appears only in the update history and depends on an unnamed third-party plugin the vendor has already replaced once. AppiAppi does not build price projections, countdown timers or return claims. Demo imagery is not transferable and client work needs permission. AppiAppi offers no legal advice here.
Setup & Ongoing Management by AppiAppi
Definity is licensed by the customer, after which AppiAppi installs it, picks the demo that genuinely matches the brief and reworks it with the customer’s branding, services, project descriptions and photographs instead of the supplied placeholders.
AppiAppi configures the portfolio entries and the single project template, the about and team sections, the enquiry form with a privacy notice and a declared retention period, and the blog, and keeps imagery compressed and responsively sized. Ongoing work covers AI-assisted SEO and content support, careful testing of theme and plugin updates given the release history, replies to enquiries from the site and general management at the level the customer’s plan provides.
