Aoki – Creative Design Agency WordPress Theme Overview
Aoki is a creative agency theme from Select Themes whose depth sits in the portfolio. The listing counts six list styles, three pagination behaviours, a dozen single project arrangements and a set of showcase shortcodes.
Around that sit five header types, among them vertical and sliding vertical variants, a full screen menu and a mega menu. Pages are built in WPBakery Page Builder, Slider Revolution handles the hero slides, both are supplied in the download, and the Select Core plugin carries the shortcodes and the project post type.
The vendor presents it for creative and design agencies, architecture practices and studios, while the packaged stylesheet describes it more loosely as a bold multipurpose creative theme. Either reading points the same way: a showcase for completed work, with shop templates available if the studio also sells something.

Who Aoki – Creative Design Agency WordPress Theme Is Suitable For
A Canadian agency or architecture practice with a substantial body of work is the natural buyer, because the value is in the range of ways a project can be laid out. A practice with forty completed projects can give several of them a bespoke looking page without custom templates.
A studio with six projects will not use most of what it is paying for, and a business whose site is mainly service pages and written material will find the portfolio emphasis unhelpful.
Important Notes About Aoki – Creative Design Agency WordPress Theme
Two social widgets listed as features were replaced rather than maintained. The 2025 entry records the vendor’s own Twitter and Instagram feed plugins removed after both platforms changed their interfaces, with free repository plugins included instead. An earlier entry also states that theme options and custom post types are disabled when the theme is not registered, so registration is not optional.
WPBakery Page Builder and Slider Revolution are separate commercial products with their own release cycles, and the Select Core plugin holds the shortcodes and project post type. The header options build a navigation structure, not a client login; billing, contracts and job tracking need separate systems. Select Themes states the demo images are licensed to them alone, work under a non disclosure agreement should not be published, and AppiAppi gives no legal advice.
Setup & Ongoing Management by AppiAppi
AppiAppi installs the licensed theme with the builder, slider and core plugin, completes the vendor registration so the options and project post type are available, imports a starting layout and rebuilds it with the practice’s own projects and case studies, single project pages, a studio page, team profiles, capabilities and the journal.
Project categories and list filtering are configured, imagery and video are compressed and given responsive sizes, and page transitions, infinite scroll and entry animations are moderated so the site stays navigable by keyboard. AppiAppi adds AI assisted SEO and content support, keeps the theme and its bundled plugins current, responds to enquiries and orders, and manages the site on the customer’s plan.
